River Boat Ride and Consulate Appt
Last night we enjoyed a beautiful riverboat ride with dinner and entertainment. Grace had a ball!!
They played a couple of Ricky Martin songs during the entertainment which was an Asian lady juggling oranges. Grace danced on Stevens lap the entire time the music played. Then Baba stood up and danced with her to "Just My Imagination." She soaked it all in and just giggled!! And she loved all the lights and water out on the deck.

We've enjoyed two Guides in Guangzhou: Jade and Helen. We were able to speak to Jade about her faith today. We were talking about the holiday here. There are signs everywhere about Chinese New Year and they all say Merry Christmas too. So I asked if she knew what Christmas is and she said yes. She said she went to a Christian school (college) to study Korean language and they had church every week. She went every week because they provided a meal. I asked if they taught about Jesus and she said yes. I said do you believe in Jesus and she said no, she believes in Buddha. She asked if I believe in Jesus and I said oh yes, He is our Creator and He loves you, Jade. She said "thank you." May the spirit of The Lord continue to speak to her heart. Today was our last day to be with her. She is spending the holiday with her family but she did write down her email address and gave it to me. She said when we come back to China to let her know. She said "I will be free" call me when you come back. It was sweet! She loved Grace and was very sweet to her.
