Civil Affairs Appointments

Thank you SO much for your prayers today. They are greatly felt and we are humbled by your joining us on this journey.

I was really concerned as we loaded the buses this morning to return to the same location where Grace was so grieved yesterday. She did just fine!! Thank You, Lord Jesus!

As of this afternoon, we are officially the parents of Grace Isabella Webb!!  We had a morning appointment and we are driving back now from the afternoon appointment and have received part of our official paperwork.  The rest will be delivered Thursday.

Tomorrow is a free day. We are on our own to shop, site see or rest. I "think" the Webb clan may be resting. But...you never know...we may have a burst of energy before morning!  Wednesday we visit the Terra Cotta museum as a group. I've heard some interesting things about that and we look forward to sharing that adventure with Grace!  We'll hope to get some really good pictures of that.

We are grateful for your prayers for Grace. I have sensed she's in pain (physical, I believe) several times and have contacted the dr at the China Care Home to get some help. Also, I've started the antibiotic they suggested we come with and I'm praying for healing and rest tonight!

Grace continues to do well and it's amazing how we can figure out what she needs (for the most part, I think). She REALLY has a sweet spirit. I cannot figure out why God has allowed us to share in such a beautiful life. My heart is so full and yet so broken for the 200 million other orphans in the world. How He sees them all and doesn't reign down His Almighty justice across the earth is beyond comprehension.  His heart is HUGE!!

"External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world." (James 1:27)
