Pray for Grace

Since you're visiting this page I believe you have a genuine interest in Grace.  May I ask you to pray for her this week?  She is doing well but over the past week or two as time is drawing closer for school to start I've sensed and really believe she's anxious about it.  I know that's normal for all children, but nothing about Grace's life and experience over the past six months is normal.  When I think how change can shake up my world with all the stability in my life I have little trouble imagining how it must cause her to tremble.

I'm praying Hebrews 13:8 for her, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."  It is such a comfort to me to know that when everything else around me seems to be changing, there's Something (Someone) in my life that doesn't!

Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."  I'm SO glad to know this tonight!

Ecclesiastes 3:1, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."  (I need that one right now myself.)

The Word of God is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12a) and it will accomplish it's purpose in me and in Grace and in you and your friends and family too.
