We had such a great weekend with her! I'm not sure how much she understood about it all but we colored our first eggs Saturday night; got our first Easter basket Sunday morning and went to church together…then we had our first egg hunt Sunday afternoon. Caleb took a little time to capture a few shots of her in her Easter dress and all I can say is...what a beauty!
Since my last update we have crossed the three month mark. On Saturday we celebrated 3 months since we met Grace, and she just gets sweeter and sweeter every day. Her progress just blows my mind sometimes! We had her vision tested and all is well there. She continues physical therapy and is walking better and better all the time. And, she is the best little nurse. A few days ago we both got a little under the weather one night. I loved on her until she felt better and you should have seen how she petted and pampered me when I told her I didn't feel very well afterwards. It was absolutely precious! No words.
She's really learning more and more English too. She's using 4 and 5 word sentences a lot…still some broken English too but she's really coming along. I'm so proud of her.
I continue to pray for her healing, not only in her hip but in every area of her little life. I ask the Lord to take her spirit of determination and use it for His glory! I pray she'll love the Lord with all her heart one day and that she'll love her neighbor as herself. We are SO blessed!
