Grateful

We have SO much to be thankful for…

This has been a really busy week and as I posted last week lots of doctor's appointments.   BUT, I am SO happy to report that Grace's MRI results came back GREAT!!  Everything looked good; spine, chest, lower lumbar, brain, EVERYTHING!  She also had an audiology appointment and her hearing is good too!  So, aside from the fatigue and busyness of the week we are doing really well.

All last year the Lord led me to put some verses to memory that all center around giving Him thanks and praise.  Tonight, I find myself rehearsing His goodness and trying to bring all of those back to mind.  Verses like…

"Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained praise, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger."  Psalm 8:2

Tonight at church the kids choir sang.  Grace had only visited the choir two weeks so (for several reasons) she wasn't ready to stand with them and sing (6 or 8 songs from memory).  But, you should have heard her from the pew!!  Praise was definitely coming out of her mouth tonight…it was precious!  AND…my fourth sweet grand baby was born today; Georgia Mae Webb…another infant God has created to praise His Name!  I can't wait to get my arms around her!!!

And...

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His benefits.  Who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.  The Lord works righteousness for all the oppressed."  Psalm 103:1-6

I cannot read that and not nearly jump for joy at what the Lord has done for me let alone what we see Him doing in Grace's life this year.

And…

"I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.  I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High."  Psalm 9:1-2

That's what I feel like tonight.  God is so good!  And we are so grateful!  Praise is the only appropriate response.

Today was our two month anniversary since meeting Grace.  It's been a good day :)
