This is my favorite shot of both Ben & Heather!
Things have changed quite a bit around the Webb house. Hear are a couple of pictures of the wedding. It's amazing how much different it is with only Caleb at home. I guess since it's been so long since Tyler left home it just REALLY seems quiet with Ben gone now! Heather spent a lot of time at the house before the wedding too. I miss them both!
But, life goes on...I am so blessed; I have so much to be thankful for; life is good.
Just a few days before the wedding, I went to the sanctuary one night with a friend to spend some time in prayer for Ben and Heather and all those who would enter the church to witness their union. It was such a sweet time remembering all that God had done and what He was going to do in the future of my firstborn. I read and prayed a lot of scripture that night asking the Lord to visit us in a special way during the ceremony and to speak to all of our hearts. I curled up indian style on the platform right about where I thought Ben and Heather would stand and prayed these verses:
"...I haven't stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to His will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. I pray that you'll live well for the Master, making Him proud of you as you work hard in His orchard. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. I pray that you'll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul - not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that He has for us." (Colossians 1:9-12 MSG)
Thank you, Lord, that Your Word endures forever. I can believe it and trust You to do what You say You will do. Thank You for everything bright and beautiful You have brought into my life!!
