We received some unexpected news today. We should be less than a month from travel to China to finalize our adoption and have just learned that Grace was taken to Beijing (many, many miles away) about two weeks ago for surgery.
We learned today she is doing well and that one of the reasons she was taken there is because of the advanced care she is receiving. We are grateful for that and want only what's best for her although we are saddened that this will delay our trip considerably. We know God is in control of this entire process and has been all along, so we trust Him tonight to care for her in our place and lead us to her in His timing. It's even a miracle that we know what we know about what's happened over the past week.
God is so good! I wish I could describe this connection my heart has with hers although we've never met. My only explanation is that there is a God Who speaks and moves and as I pray for her He is binding our hearts together in love. Thank you for joining us again in prayer for her now...
