Enemy Access Denied

Recommending a book doesn't happen without risk, but as believers in Christ who have been called to shine the light and flavor the earth as salt it might do most of us good to be bigger risk takers when it comes to sharing our hearts and our faith! I've almost finished reading John Bevere's book called, "Enemy Access Denied" and though very few books are ever read when both the author and the reader are in total agreement this book is too good to just read and move on. This is a today message.

Revelation 12 says the devil is filled with fury because he knows his time in short! Jesus said over and over in the gospels "do not be deceived" and he spoke of deception becoming more and more prevalent even for the believer in Christ as time goes on. Several times in James, chapter 1 we're told not to deceive ourselves, and Paul warned the church at Corinth not to be like Eve who fell to Satan's deception. If you like me want to say "NO" to the enemy and give him no foothold in your life, or if you have a heart for your friends and family and have an avenue for sharing or counseling others in the ways of the Lord; this is a great tool!

The subtitle to the book says; "Slam the Devil's Door with one Simple Decision." Man, I want to do that! I don't have a great track record on that one, but as I move forward in this quest of life on planet earth, I want to always be learning and applying Truth to my life. And I want to continue praying it over my family and friends lives encouraging them in the faith. I know there's alot of good, sound stuff out there to read and study but if you haven't read this one you may want to.

Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." ~John 8:31-32

Revelation 12 says the devil is filled with fury because he knows his time in short! That is powerful and uplifting all in one. I love it when he gets upset!!
