He's 18

Unbelievable! Absolutely. It really is hard to fathom that 18 years ago today on a stormy autumn morning I was rushed to the hospital to deliver this beauty (in more ways than one). He came at an extremely difficult time in my life. He was my first true Isaiah 61 experience of God bringing beauty from ashes. So much about our lives at that time seemed to be falling apart, but (pardon the mush) when I looked into the precious eyes of this new life...God breathed new life in me! I praise the Lord again today for His blessings in our lives. How good it is to know Him and to be blessed with another day to praise Him!
